Landing page in a week

Landing page live in 1 week
The Situation

A Hong Kong B2B startup had a pitch event in eight days and their landing page was still a Wix placeholder. The founder had been burned by two agencies who quoted ten weeks for what he thought was a two-week job.

The Match

We introduced him to a developer from our network who builds marketing sites on a lean stack and had done the same kind of sprint for a fintech startup we'd worked with. The developer asked for the pitch deck, not a brief. First draft was back the next day.

The Friction

The founder wanted three rounds of visual revision. The developer offered one round of structural feedback and one round of copy tightening, then lock. We backed the developer — pitch deadlines don't survive three rounds.

The Delivery

A three-section landing page with a waitlist form, analytics, and clean mobile rendering. Deployed on the sixth day. The founder collected forty waitlist signups at the pitch event the next day.

The Takeaway

Constraints beat committees. The best developers say no to the extra round and ship on time.
